Dricus Du Plessis is a South African mixed martial artist who competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Born on August 11, 1994, in Ermelo, South Africa, Du Plessis began his martial arts journey at a young age, training in various disciplines including judo and karate.
Du Plessis made his professional MMA debut in 2013 and quickly gained attention on the regional scene in South Africa for his aggressive fighting style and finishing ability. He captured multiple titles in different organizations, including the Extreme Fighting Championship (EFC), where he became a two-division champion.
