Post fight update: Jose Aldo proved he’s still a contender at bantamweight outlasting Rob Font in a 5-round war. This card featured knockouts galore including a huge wheel kick stoppage from Rafael Fiziev against Brad Riddell. The fight was back and forth but Fiziev’s strikes appeared to be connecting with much more power. The spinning technique finished off Riddell in the third round as Fiziev extended his winning streak to 5. Clay Guida also proved that he’s not ready to be put out to pasture as the 40-year old submitted Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt Leonardo Santos. The veteran appeared to be finished early in the first round but managed to survive an onslaught from Santos. Santos had used up his entire gas tank trying to close out the fight and Guida capitalized and submitted him in the second round.
